(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Ahmed al Busaidi returns to KPMG Oman as audit manager on completion of an international assignment at KPMG in Birmingham, UK.
Busaidi joined KPMG Oman in 2009 as audit associate and his goal was to become a recognised professional accountant within the firm as well as the corporate world.
Busaidi said that he was given the opportunity in KPMG Oman office to be an audit in-charge for small- and medium-sized companies. After two years of experience in handling more than 20 audit teams and providing audit services to different sectors, Busaidi was seconded to KPMG offices in Birmingham in January 2012.
Busaidi said, ''Exposure to international assignments provided me a wider experience. During that time I worked closely with finance teams of many multinational companies in oil and gas, construction, wholesale, health services and manufacturing. The knowledge and experience I gained during my time in UK was excellent. I had the opportunity to lead audit teams, work with experienced senior professionals on complex engagements that helped me with my professional and personal growth.''
''Today I return to KPMG Oman as an audit manager and my vision is to now apply these skills efficiently and effectively in numerous areas of the profession and contribute to the business environment. I also intend to train Omanis, enhance their knowledge and experience in best standards,'' he added.
