Kuwait: 9 People Injured In Traffic Accidents


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Over the past few days nine people who were injured during traffic accidents have been admitted to hospitals, reports Al-Qabas daily. Giving a breakdown, the security authorities said three Kuwaitis were injured on the Fifth Ring Road, a GCC citizen on the Third Ring Road following a two-vehicle collision and two Egyptian on the King Fahd Motorway. The cause of the accident is not known but both men are suffering from fractures. And in the last accident a Kuwaiti woman and two Asians were injured on the Sixth Ring Road following a two-vehicle collision. All the injured have been referred to a hospital. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen sustained head and hand injury in a two-vehicle collision on Jahra Motorway. Acting on a distress call a passerby placed to the Operations Room in that concern, a team of rescue men rushed to the scene and helped the injured man to Jahra Hospital for treatment, reports Al-Seyassah daily. Meanwhile, one heavy duty vehicle broke down and brought traffic to a standstill on the Fourth Ring Road. A Kuwaiti youth who nearly smashed into the truck called the Operations Room and reported the incident. Traffic men arrived at the location, removed the truck and traffic was restored. A case was registered.
