(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Hawalli police have arrested an unidentified Asian man for bootlegging, reports Al-Qabas daily. According to security sources patrolmen while on routine duty saw the man standing in front of a residential building carrying a bag in hand. When he saw the police, he escaped into a building. Police pursued him and caught him with bottles of liquor.
Police then raided his apartment and confiscated alcohol ready for sale, raw material and equipment used in manufacturing alcohol. During the raid police also arrested some Asian residence and labor laws violators and referred all the arrested persons to the concerned authorities.
