Saudi invests USD26.66 b in petrochemical industry


(MENAFN) Saudi Arabia intends to support petrochemical industry by investing USD 26Ù«66 billion in it, according to Arab News. The Kingdom aims to improve the industry and raise its production capacity by 33 percent reaching 80 million tons by the next two years. Low global demand on petrochemical products has affected the petrochemical sector causing a decline of 8.2 percent in revenues.
