(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Dar al Atta'a donated clothes worth RO30,500 among low-income families during Eid al Fitr and Eid al Adha this year.
Low income families across several wilayats, including Muscat, Muttrah, Bausher, Amerat, Quriyat, Seeb, Sohar, Barka, Musannah, Fanja, Ibra, Nakhal, Suwaiq, Samail, Jalaan Bani Bu Ali, Jalaan Bani Bu Hassan, Mudhaibi, Yanqul, Saham, Taqah, Mirbat and Salalah, received clothes from the charity organisation.
It also spent RO13,000 on animal sacrifices to support such families during Eid al Adha.
Maryam al Zadjali, chairperson, Dar al Atta'a, said, ''I express my gratitude to all the companies and donors who played an important role in lending a hand to the less fortunate.''
The association was happy to extend its cloth donation programme to citizens in Al Jabal al Aswad in the wilayat of Quriyat for the first time.
Till October 23 this year, Dar al Atta'a has raised RO41,842 through Oman's online donations portal www.onlinedonations.org.om.
