(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) The first edition of the Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS) 2013 will be held here from November 12 to 16 at Lusail Marina in Lusail City.
Licenced by the Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA), the first Qatar International Boat Show 2013 will exhibit a variety of motorboats, cruisers, yachts, fishing boats, speedboats, recreational family boats up to 30 meters in size, leisure and marine accessories, event organisers said
The QIBS will host events on land and in water
Around 100 international and local exhibitors are expected to showcase 150 boats, five global and regional launches and an estimated 15,000 visitors
Lusail Marina is a yachting destination and the premier marina facility in the Middle East located along the coast just north of Doha in the Lusail City development
It features 93 modern floating berths that can host yachts of 10-40 metres in length
Organisers estimate QR 750 Million investment opportunities in water sports, yachts, boasts and marine accessories markets in the GCC.
