Repayment of Egypt's deposit from Kuwait to be extended


(MENAFN) Egypt's interim prime minister said that its repayment to the USD2 billion deposit to Kuwait's Central Bank has been extended over five years instead of one, according to Saudi Gazette. Prime Minister Hazem El-Beblawi said on a private television channel that Kuwait will allow Egypt to repay the deposit in five years. The USD2 billion deposit from Kuwait is part of a USD4 billion aid package after the ousting of Islamist president Mohamed Morsi.
