(MENAFN) A senior Iranian trade official said that Europeans have announced their intention to tighten their economic and business relations in Iran, according to Iran Daily.
Mohammad Nahavandian, the head of the Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture of Iran, said: "In the (recent) World Chambers Federation meeting held in Hamburg, Germany, Iran"s new diplomatic approach was welcomed and we saw the European countries showing interest in exchanging trade delegations and studying grounds for cooperation, which was not comparable with the past."
Nahavandian said that other investors are forward to investing in Iranian projects.
He added that Iran's diplomatic moves are expected to positively affect the country's economy.
