(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The 23rd GCC meet will be the first time the most number of referees will be from the host country.
The competition will see 78 referees from Oman along with ten officials from the participating countries officiating the events.
Abdulmoneim al Alawi, OSA board member and the technical committee chairman, said, ''We have already conducted two training courses for referees in Oman in association with world swimming body, FINA. The final course will be held from October 24-26, which will enable the referees to officiate in the GCC meet.''
