Sugar prices fall 25 percent in KSA


(MENAFN) Sugar prices in Saudi Arabia fell 25 percent on the back of global price drop, Arabs News reported. This big drop in sugar prices was cited to a surplus of sugar in the producing and exporting countries which led to a drop in sugar prices worldwide. Around 80 percent of Saudi Arabia's sugar is imported and its consumption of the commodity is at 1.2 million tons annually.
