(MENAFN Press) The General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF), in association with the Bahrain Insurance Association (BIA), is set to host the Gulf's first Professional Liability Insurance Forum starting tomorrow 21st October 2013 at the Ritz Carlton in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The Forum will address issues related to Professional Indemnity, Bankers Blanket Bonds, Political Violence and Medical Malpractice.

The two day event is being held under the patronage of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and in cooperation with the Bahrain Economic Development Board, the event's Strategic Partner, Al Baraka Banking Group, the event's Banking Sponsor, and with the support of Tamkeen. The event is organized and managed by FinMark Communications, as specialized financial communications firm in the region.

The Forum will engage business leaders in a high level discussion on professional liability risk across industry sectors and the innovative solutions available for mitigating and managing them in today's increasingly challenging business and economic climate. In particular, the Forum will look at the in-depth needs of a number of select professions including banking, finance, the medical field and various other professional services.

As a leading regional hub for financial services including the insurance industry, Bahrain serves as the ideal location from and to which the Forum expects to attract more than 300 participants. These include members of GIAF as well as decision makers from leading insurers, financial institutions and corporates across the GCC, broader MENA region and South Africa.

The Forum will also showcase exhibitions in which exhibitors will enjoy prime exposure and direct marketing opportunities with a leading faculty of experienced insurers, professionals and regulators to exchange knowledge and expertise with the industry peers to discover about the risks and opportunities in the current market. The General Arab Insurance Federation (GAIF) was founded in 1964 and has its own entity, financial and managerial independence to practice lawfully in achieving its objectives. GAIF is based in Cairo City / A.R.E. according to an agreement signed with the Egyptian President in 1996.
