S. Korea crude imports from Iran double last month


(MENAFN) Crude oil exports from Iran to South Korea increased by 100 percent last month compared to the month before it, Peninsula Qatar reported. South Korea imported 571,909 tons of Iranian crude in September , or 139,736 barrels per day (bpd), which makes the import average for the third quarter at 133,676 bpd. Despite of this increase, South Korea remains close to its target of cutting imports from Iran by 15 percent to extend US sanctions.
