(MENAFN) Mobily said that its network volume during the Haj season grew considerably over the same period last year, Saudi Gazette reported.
The company said that its network grew by an astonishing 273 percent during this year"s Haj season compared with same season a year ago.
The number of international inbound roamers increased 56 percent, recording a 500 percent increase in WhatsApp usage as well as recording an increase in the usage of Skype and twitter with a 400 percent and a 234 percent increase respectively.
Mobily allowed free of charge internet access for all pilgrims through Wi-Fi networks in holy sites.
