Salalah floats radar system tender


(MENAFN) A tender for a radar system for the Salalah Airport in Oman was floated by the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Times of Oman reported. The Tender Board said that the bids for the radar system, which is part of the airport"s expansion plan, will open on December 9 of this year. The expansion project will cost around USD761.44 million and is expected to finish by the end of the year, while testing of all the facilities and equipment starts early next year.
