Jordan inflation up 6.1 percent in September


(MENAFN) The Jordanian Department of Statistics (DoS) said that the inflation rate in the country increased at the end of September, Jordan Times reported. The consumer price index (CPI), which is used to measure the inflation, surged by 6.1 percent at the end of last month, the DoS said. In a year-on-year basis, the CPI rose by 5.5 percent in the previous month versus the same month last year.
