Saudi revenue of tax and zakat reaches USD5.73


(MENAFN) Tax and Zakat revenues reached USD5Ù«73 billion in 2013 and is expected to reach USD7Ù«19 billion by 2014, according to Arab News. The kingdom's growth rate of revenues boosted 20 percent year-on-year, stated Deputy General Director of the Dept for Support Services Salih Al-Awaji. The department has held a labor correction campaign that is directed at small-scale firms to pay zakat, and increase revenues as a result.
