(MENAFN) The Doha Carbon & Energy Forum"s steering committee (DCEF) will open its doors to the three-day 2013 DCEF forum in Qatar next November, according to the Peninsula Qatar.
The forum will be under the patronage of H.H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, Chairperson of Qatar Foundation, H E Dr Mohammed bin Saleh Al Sada, the Minister of Energy & Industry, who will deliver the opening address, Faisal Al Suwaidi, President of Research and Development at Qatar Foundation and Mrs Sara Ortwein, President of ExxonMobil Upstream Research Company.
The forum will focus on Qatar's role in energy efficiency, climate change, carbon capture and storage (CCS) and solar energy as ways to mitigate greenhouse gases.
