Portugal exports flat in August


(MENAFN) Portugal's National Statistics Institute (INE) said that exports in the country remained flat in the month of August, while imports fell, Xinhuanet reported. Exports during the month were at USD4.5 billion, while imports were at USD5.75 billion, recording a 3.5 percent drop. The persistent recession in the country is blamed on the austerity measure taken by the government.
