United Nations warns: half the people to suffer Water Stress by 2030


(MENAFN) The United Nations have warned water shortage in many countries around the world by 2030 as it is expected that 50 percent of the people on earth would suffer "water stress", according to Iran Daily. As measures shows, less than 1,700 cubic meters of water available per person per year, unless action was taken, said Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon. Ki-Moon said that no government can solve the shortage problem alone. We "need the full engagement of all actors, communities, societies", he said.
