(MENAFN) Stone and marble manufacturers from Oman secured over 100 export orders during the 48th annual International Trade Fair for Stone Design and Technology (Marmomacc) in Italy, Times of Oman reported.
The orders, each worth between USD8,000 and USD10,000, were placed to be used in hotels, banks and offices in countries as Austria, Italy, Algeria, Ireland, Libya and Egypt.
Director-general of the Public Authority for Investment Promotion and Export Development (Paiped) said: "It's marvellous to see the positive response received on our pavilion. Indeed, the orders won clearly demonstrate the quality and pricing of Omani marble."
