Global food prices at its lowest in Sept.

(MENAFN) The United Nations food agency reported that global food prices have reached its lowest level in September since three years, according to Iran Daily. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported that the cost decline of cereals was the reason behind the prices drop. However, dairy, meat and sugar prices significantly increased. FAO senior economist, Abdolreza Abbasian, said: "There is still some room for prices to go down but not significantly. Anything that happens now on the negative side could push up prices again."
