RAK Ruler pardons 94 prisoners

(MENAFN- Arab News) His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has ordered the release of 94 prisoners from punitive and reformative institutions in the emirate, on the occasion of Eid Al Adha. The prisoners of various nationalities include those who have proven eligibility for clemency and have pledged to pay all financial obligations. Non-Emirati prisoners will be deported as per the verdicts issued in their cases. The order is in line with Shaikh Sauds keenness to provide the prisoners, serving various jail terms, with a second chance to begin a new life, as well as to ease the burdens of their families.
