France signs USD1.76 b deal with Saudi


(MENAFN) French Defense Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian announced that Saudi Arabia and France have signed a USD1.76 billion deal to modernize two French refueling ships and four frigates, according to Arab News. The deal is considered as a step towards strong relations between Saudi and France. The two countries discussed their foreign policy goals during the meeting. Le Drian said: "The multibillion-riyal contract to overhaul frigates and refueling ships came into effect on Monday."
