(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Directorate General for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances has arrested two persons from Ruwi on charges of possessing and selling drugs.
An ROP source said that sleuths from the directorate general had received a tip-off on the two. ''They were kept under surveillance and arrested when they exited a hotel in the area,'' the official said.
He added that the sleuths recovered drugs, syringes and cash from their vehicle.
''Drugs and heroin were also recovered from the hotel room in which the duo were staying. They have been referred to the Public Prosecution.''<
