Iran supplying services worth USD3.2 b


(MENAFN) Iran supplies energy to 40 different countries a the cost USD3.2 billion. The supplied services include water and power engineering and technical services, according to Iran Daily. Iranian energy entities are currently implementing a number of projects in Azerbaijan, Ethiopia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, South Africa, Afghanistan, Algeria, UAE, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Iraq, Oman, Kenya, Lebanon and Nigeria, said Esmaeil Mahsouli, deputy energy minister for international affairs. Mahsouli said: "The Iranian entities have undertaken 59 water and power projects overseas, of which 13 projects valued at $1.4 billion have gone on stream."
