(MENAFN) The Sharqiyah Desalination Company in Oman placed a bid to expand its plant in Sur by 10.6 million gallons per day (MIGD), Times of Oman reported.
If the bid is approved by the firm�s Tender Board, the plant�s capacity following the expansion is expected to increase to 30MIGD.
The expansion will allow the company to strengthen its business in the country, despite it being a risk considering the financing, construction and commissioning of the project.
