Samsung Electronics hits new profit record
(MENAFN) The worlds largest producer of smart phones, memory chips and flat screen TVs, Samsung Electronics, recorded its highest third-quarter operating profit, Xinhua reported..
The profit has reached a new quarterly high of USD 9.4 million at the end of third quarter, up by 25.3 percent from the prior-year period, Samsung said.
Sales during the quarter hit USD55 billion, recording a 13.1 percent versus the same period last year.
