International Islamic wins Best Islamic Bank award


(MENAFN- Arab Times) International Islamic (QIIB) has won the "Best Islamic Bank in Qatar 2013" award instituted by Arabian Business, which emphasises the banks leadership in international Islamic banking and the strength of its financial position. The award was handed over to International Islamic Deputy CEO Jamal Abdullah Al Jamal by Arabian Business at a ceremony attended by the elite business community of Qatar and the region alike. Jamal Abdullah Al Jamal said: "This award is given in recognition of the fact that we have been able to achieve significantly in Islamic banking, maintain the pace of growth and expand our customer base. As an integral part of the national economy, our success was driven by Qatars overall growth. We are proud of our contribution to national economy and will always be ready to contribute to its continuing growth and prosperity. We will do our part in serving our country and its citizens." Jamal thanked Arabian Business for bestowing the award on International Islamic. He said the biggest honour International Islamic gets is by way of enjoying the confidence of its loyal customers. Arabian Business award was given to International Islamic for its contribution to Qatars economy and the banks achievements in Islamic banking, particularly its efforts at promoting value-based banking with a customer-focused approach.
