(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) An explosion blasted in front of three shops owned by Mohammad Barakat in the town of Bourj Arab in the Lebanese northern city of Akkar Friday evening, Lebanons National News Agency (NNA) reported.
Initial reports said that the damages were strictly material, according to the NNA, but the Voice of Lebanon radio said that three people were lightly injured in the explosion, revealing that a bomb expert had defused another bomb in the location. Security Forces launched an investigation into the nature of said explosion, NNA said.
