Kuwait 2 Women In Suicide Bid

(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Lebanese woman tried to end her life by jumping from the bathroom window of her apartment in Salmiya area, reports Al-Seyassah daily. According to security sources, when the Operations Room of Ministry of Interior received information from a Sri Lankan housemaid about her sponsors suicide attempt, securitymen and paramedics rushed to the location and found the Lebanese woman lying on the ground. They rushed her to Amiri Hospital where medical examinations were carried out to discover she fractured her foot and sustained various injuries throughout her body. When securitymen interrogated the housemaid, she revealed that when her sponsor went into the bathroom and did not leave for a while, she knocked the door but did not receive any response. She opened the door to find the bathroom empty and the bathroom window open. She looked out of the window to find her sponsor lying on the ground. From the results of the medical examinations and the statement given by the housemaid, securitymen concluded that the woman had attempted suicide, and they took necessary action against her. Meanwhile, an Asian housemaid tried to commit suicide by consuming large quantities of pills inside her sponsors house in Ardiya area. Paramedics referred her to Farwaniya Hospital for treatment. Securitymen carried out investigations with her sponsor to discover she had some problems in her country. A case of suicide attempt was registered against the Asian woman and necessary legal action was taken against her.
