Kuwait- Judge Extends Detention Of Main Suspect

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Detention Renewal Judge on Thursday ordered the extension of the detention of the main suspect in the killing of a Kuwaiti in Marina Mall until Oct 10, 2013 to conduct further investigation. The Public Prosecution had earlier released the two other suspects, while the main suspect was referred to the court. The suspects were charged with the murder of the Kuwaiti but they denied involvement in the case. According to the main suspect, he did not target the victim as the act was unintentional due to a fight between them. He claimed he didnt know the victim but he admitted that he owns the knife used in the crime, while one of the two other suspects vehemently denied the accusation.
