Sri Lanka returns PetroChina oil shipment


(MENAFN) Sri Lanka"s Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (Ceypetco) said that a 30,000 tons shipment of oil sent by PetroChina Singapore was rejected due to quality not meeting with specification, The Peninsula Qatar reported. Ceypetco"s Managing Director said that it rejected 5,000 tons of 90-octane petrol, but accepted 5,000 tons of 95-octane petrol and 5,000 tons of diesel from PetroChina Singapore. The Managing Director said: "We have decided to reject the oil stock as it failed one of the 15 parameters of the octane specifications."
