Saudi Arabia remains major power in water market


(MENAFN) The BMI said in its Saudi Arabia Water Report Q4 2013 that the Kingdom has maintained its position as a major power in the world water market, Saudi Gazette reported. The increasing demand on the current water system has led the government to invest intensively in the sector. The Saudi Minister of Water and Electricity said at the beginning of the year that the Kingdom assigned USD6.4 billion for water and sanitation projects for this year and USD66 billion for investments in the next decade.
