(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Public Prosecution has ordered the release of the second and third suspects in the gruesome murder of a Kuwaiti youth at Marina Mall while detaining the first suspect Saad until his appearance before the detention renewal judge on Thursday. Counsel to the second and third suspects Lawyer Sultan Al-Mindil declared that the prosecution understands the legal positions of the suspects, insisting that the two suspects should be released as they played a passive role in the crime. He explained that releasing them did not imply that they have been exempted from necessary penalties and that the court will later take appropriate decision confirming their innocence or otherwise. He indicated that releasing the first defendant after he appears before the judge is not likely to happen since he is the prime suspect. He said the suspect had confessed he was the one who stabbed the victim to death but denied deliberate murder attempt, insisting it was on self-defense
