Kuwait- 4 Women Among Six Asians Held Running Liquor Factory

(MENAFN- Arab Times) In what seems like the largest liquor factory uncovered in Kuwait, security operatives confiscated 229 gallons of local brew and 1,244 bottles of the contraband ready for sale by two Asians with their four female compatriots inside a three-storey building at Mishref. Security sources said patrol officers came across the first suspect who held a water bottle, and asked him to stop for checking, but he ran inside the building. The officers pursued and arrested the man. During interrogation, he confessed peddling in liquor, so police raided the building and confiscated liquor distillers with a large number of gallons and gas cylinders. Some of the suspects arrested were reported to have absconded from their sponsors. They were referred with the items to the concerned authority.
