Oman Air appointments at its network airports


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman Air has announced a series of new appointments to its airport teams across its international network. 

Mohammed al Riyami has been transferred from his post at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to take on the role of airport service manager (ASM) at Doha, Qatar, while Ali al Amri moves from Doha to fill the ASM position in Chennai, India. Hamed Said al Shiyah has been appointed ASM at Chittagong, Bangladesh, Zahran Am Busaidy is taking up the position of ASM at Bangkok, Thailand, Hilal al Shidhani has been appointed ASM at Kathmandu, Nepal, and Khalid al Balushi has been appointed airport duty manager at Oman Air's home base airport of Muscat, a press release said.

In addition to these internal moves, three staff have joined Oman Air from other airlines. Waheed al Balushi has been appointed ASM at Kuala Lumpur, Maher al Zadjali will take on the same role at Lahore, Pakistan, and Fahad al Suleimani is the new ASM at Dubai.

Announcing the appointments, Saleem Amanulla, general manager of airport services, said, ''We are delighted to welcome those members of staff who have just joined Oman Air and we congratulate those who have been appointed to new positions.

''It is particularly satisfying for the sultanate's national airline that all the new appointees are Omanis. This is testament to the long-term, strategic vision of Oman Air's management, which has resulted in Omanis with the appropriate qualifications and experience taking up senior positions within the airline.,'' Amanulla added.
