(MENAFN) Dubai Land Department (DLD) reported that transactions in the real estate sector in Dubai registered the highest rate in a single day reaching the USD 1.36 billion mark, according to Khaleej Times.
The emirate will raise transfer fee by 2 percent on all types of real estate transactions, except for the industrial sector, beginning from October 6 of the current year.
The new registration fee in the emirate will be 4 percent instead of 2 percent in order to lessen speculation.
