(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) One of the Middle East's largest consumer electronics and home appliances sale kicked-off recently in Oman with discounts of up to 50 per cent on a variety of international brands.
Now in its ninth year, the eXtra mega sale has become a major fixture in the region's retail calendar, attracting nearly 2mn visitors in 2012. The mega sale' will take place in eXtra's Muscat showroom, which is located in Sultan Qaboos Road, as well in all 35 of the company's outlets in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
This year's sale has reductions on a variety of leading international brands, including Samsung, LG, Sony, Panasonic, and Princess, among others.
There will also be a number of special offers on categories, including LED flats screen TVs and laptops.
''For the last nine years, the eXtra mega sale has been marked in the calendars of anyone in Saudi Arabia with a passion for consumer electronics, and we are delighted to be bringing the event to Oman for the first time,'' said Karim Manssour Dahbi, CEO, United Electronics Company (eXtra).
