FIAT running at half capacity

(MENAFN) Domestic production by Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino (FIAT) is at only 50 percent capacity, Xinhua reported. The Italian carmaker said that the reason behind the production cut is the economic crisis and the company"s new global strategy. In the January-August period of this year, the company made 260,000 units, recording a 10 percent drop from the corresponding period last year. Last month, FIAT produced 15,700 vehicles dropping by 6 percent versus August 2012.
