CAA launches new flight to China


(MENAFN) Cambodia Angkor Air (CAA) launched flights to Guangzhou City in China's Guangdong province hoping to draw more visitors to Cambodia, Xinhua reported. CAA"s deputy chief executive officer stated that the carrier is using an Airbus A321 with a 176 passenger capacity to carry out the flights between Cambodia's tourism city Siem Reap and China's Guangzhou. In this year"s first seven months, around 267,000 Chinese tourists visited Cambodia, registering a 49 percent increase over the same period last year and making China the third largest traveller source for Cambodia.
