(MENAFN Editorial) MODA Mall, Bahrain's ultra-modern shopping destination in collaboration with Harper's Bazaar Arabia, has announced today the launch of its magnificent MODA Mall Fashion Festival 2013. The two-week high-fashion event will transform MODA Mall into an international fashion hub featuring the latest Autumn/Winter 2013 trends from the key fashion cities of London, New York, Paris and Milan.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by leading fashion trendsetters, Huda and Mona Kattan along with Veronica Kemsky, leading international fashion illustrator and Sally Mathews, Fashion Director at Harper's Bazaar Arabia, members of the press and a large number of the trendy fashionistas. This high-end Festival provides fashion conscious shoppers and trendy visitors a unique experience in beauty, style and creativity in its highest form. The Festival runs from 25th September to 12th October 2013.

The highlight of the grand opening ceremony was the inauguration of the Fashion Capitals of the World by the Kattan sisters. Huda and Mona Kattan, had the opportunity to meet-and-greet a large number of fans to whom they highlighted the latest fashion trends in clothing, colour themes, make-up and hair styling for the upcoming Autumn/Winter season and shared a number of useful fashion tips. Fashion lovers have the unique opportunity to view all the freshest trends from London, Paris, Milan and New York to complement their shopping experience with an extravaganza of exciting activities.

Drawings of the latest fashion designs by leading Russian illustrator, Veronica Kemsky will be on display as well. An Illustration Master Class led by Ms Kemsky was held for the 15 talented illustrators who won the Fashion Illustration competition held from 1st “ 15th September and heard her discuss and teach various illustration techniques.
For art and fashion lovers, MODA Mall Fashion Festival includes a Woman's Art Exhibition by Saudi artist Noura Bouzo. Her latest collection infuses fashion and culture into her mixed media. Inspired by the latest trends in fashion, the artworks represent colorful Arab women who want to create change in the regn.

In addition, other interactive fashion-themed activities during the high-fashion event will be a Nail Bar booth to pamper customers with the latest nail art for Fall 2013; an Elephant Photo booth to capture everyone's high-fashion memorable poses with family and friends; the Cookie Jar for those mouth-watering moments.

Furthermore, visitors and shoppers to the Fashion Capitals of the World setup will have the chance to enter a competition and win a luxury designer watch by answering a set of questions about the Festival and posting responses on MODA Mall's facebook page Alongside these events visitors will also be able to witness fashion shows on Thursday, 3rd October which shall showcase some of the latest in the Autumn/Winter collections available at the mall.

MODA Mall is a high-end shopping mall, offering a veritable who's who of the global fashion community. Visitors to the mall are presented with a choice of more than 120 designer brand name boutiques previously unattainable in the Kingdom of Bahrain; including De Beers, Dior, Hermes, Louis Vuitton, and Versace.

Other facilities housed at the mixed-use development is the state-of-the-art, international health club Fitness First, and a range of casual and fine-dining restaurants, including, Abd El Wahab, Maki and Sheraton Hotel restaurants. In addition, on the sidelines of the Fashion Festival, a pop-up Italian Coffee Shop, serving Italian delicacies is open daily from 10:00am to 10:00pm serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Offering a 1,700 space car park shared with the adjoining #Bahrain World Trade Center, brand conscious shoppers can enjoy the free car parking facility as MODA Mall offers complimentary car parking for the first two hours. After the allotted time, customers can continue to enjoy unlimited free parking on receipt of a parking voucher provided by MODA Mall shops upon their purchase of goods, or alternatively, use their purchase receipt of BD 10/- and above as a FREE exit pass by submitting to the parking cashier. Parking is free to the public daily after 4:00pm, and is free all day on weekends and public holidays.
