VW launches new factory in China


(MENAFN) Volkswagen launched its newest plant in China with an expected production capacity of 300,000 units per annum, Qatar News Agency reported. The plant, built in Guangdong province in southern China, is expected to eventually double its 300,000 annual production. The German carmaker's sales in China went up 23 percent last year accounting for 2.8 million units of 9.1 million sold globally.
