France's Airbus signs USD6.75 billion deal


(MENAFN) Airbus will provide three Chinese companies with 68 A320 aircrafts, and will be able to provide a new jet that is lighter and wide-bodied, The Peninsula Qatar reported. The company made a deal worth USD6.75 billion with the three companies to provide them with 68 planes, distributed as follows: BOC Aviation ordered 25 planes, Qingdao Airlines requested 23 planes and Zhejiang Loong Airlines sought 20. The companies' order of planes came after the rising number of trips to China reaching a 9 percent rise in 2012 to about 320 million passengers.
