(MENAFN- Arab Times) Ahmadi securitymen have arrested an Asian with 40 bottles of locally-brewed alcohol in Mahboula.
Under the supervision of Ahmadi Security Director Major General Ayth Al-Otaibi, a team of officers on duty in the area asked the suspect to stop for routine inspection after noticing the unusual movement of his vehicle.
The suspect tried to escape on foot but the officers chased him.
When the officers searched his vehicle, they found a nylon bag containing 40 water bottles filled with local alcohol.
Preliminary investigations revealed the suspect was supposed to sell the bottles of alcohol to the Asian community in the area.
He was referred to the concerned security department for the necessary legal action.
