Kuwait- Indian Found Running Phone Exchange In Apartment


(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Fahaheel police have arrested an unidentified 40-year-old Indian for running an apartment to offer overseas calls illegally, reports Al-Anba daily. The man was handed over to the Ahmadi Security Directorate before sending him to the deportation center. 25 illegals held: Personnel from the Tripartite Committee comprising members from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Social Affairs and Labor and the Ministry of Interior have arrested 25 residence law violators during a campaign in the Shuwaikh Industrial Area, reports Al- Rai daily. All those arrested have been referred to the concerned authorities Peddlers held: Three Arab nationals were arrested in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area in possession of 250 grams of hashish, 100 grams of 'Shabu' drug and 250 narcotic pills, reports Al- Seyassah daily. According to security sources, when the Directorate General for Drug Control received information about the Arab nationals involved in drug trafficking, a team was formed for investigations. After confirming the information and taking necessary legal measures, securitymen arrested the three suspects in their apartment and searched it to find the abovementioned drugs. During interrogations, the suspects confessed that the drugs belonged to them, which they were planning to sell to their clients. The suspects were referred with the drugs to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against them. Rent fraud: The Salmiya police have referred a GCC citizen for investigation for betrayal of trust worth KD 25,000, reports Al-Rai daily. Police records show the suspect hired vehicles from several car rental offices and did not return them.
