(MENAFN) The Arabian Company for Water and Power Development (ACWA) in Saudi Arabia announced it acquired Flabeg, a German manufacturer of mirrors for concentrated solar power (CSP) plants, Saudi Gazette reported.
The acquisition, done by ACWA's solar energy subsidiary, is expected to strengthen ACWA's position in the CSP sector.
Flabeg Solar equipped more than 40 CSP plants, building a track record of almost 30 years.
