Kuwait- Two Women Kidnapped, Raped In Desert


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Detectives from Taima Police Station have been looking for the owner of a brown car who kidnapped an Indian housemaid near her sponsor's residence in Oyoun at knifepoint and drove her to a desert area and raped her, reports Al- Rai daily. The victim returned home and told the sponsor about the incident and he accompanied her to the area police station to lodge an official complaint. The woman supported the claim with medical report. In a similar story, a Kuwaiti woman in her late 20s filed a case in Salmiya police station and said the boyfriend had physically assaulted and raped her inside a car in Salmiya. She explained there was a misunderstanding between them and the boyfriend invited her out to settle the issue, so they met at a public parking lot and drove to another location inside the man's car. She said they were alone discussing the issue when suddenly he descended on her with severe attack and raped her. Later, she escaped from the car, took a taxi to where she parked her own car and drove to the police station to file a case. She provided the description of the man to the police, and they since have been looking for him. Meanwhile, Jahra securitymen have been working hard to uncover the identity of a man wearing dishdasha who had kidnapped and raped a Filipino woman, and left her stranded in the desert, reports Al-Qabas daily. The suspect is reported to have kidnapped the victim at Naim area and drove her to the desert where he raped her. The patrol officers who found the victim said she was in a bad state, so they took her to a hospital for treatment.
