Iraq commences test pumping through southern pipeline

(MENAFN) Iraq started pumping oil through a southern pipeline for tests after performing repairs, The Peninsula Qatar reported. Pumping through the pipeline was halted due to a leak that reduced production from the Rumaila oilfield in the south. Rumaila used to produce 1.47 million barrels per day (bpd) before the leak, but production was cut to 870,000 bpd.
