Saudi- Takween appoints new CEO

(MENAFN- Arab News) Takween Advanced Industries (TAI) announces that its board of directors approved on Wednesday the appointment of Ali A. Al-Shaier as CEO effective from Oct. 1, 2013, according to Tadawul website. Al-Shaier is one of the prominent and outstanding management leadership models with more than 27 years of experience in the manufacturing and commercial fields. Al-Shaier was the technical general manager of Saudi European Petrochemical Co. (Ibn Zahr). Also, he was the president of Gulf Stabilizers Industries. Al-Shaier also assumed the role of the CEO of Advanced Petrochemical Co. Lately, he was named the CEO of Al-Tanmiah Industrial and Commercial Investment Co. Al-Shaier holds a bachelor's degree in applied chemical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM). He also attended several executive development programs.
