Iran to import 8 m liters of premium gasoline from India


(MENAFN) The Fars News Agency reported that Iran will import 8-10 million liters of premium gasoline per day from India, according to Tehran Times. Iran is working on increasing octane number by mixing imported gasoline with domestically produced gasoline. Managing Director P.P. Upadhya said: "Importing crude oil from Iran is crucial as it helps in curbing dollar outgo in a big way. We can make part payment in rupees. That"s the arrangement."
